There has been a lot of Hallmark movie news floating around, lately... so I thought I would share some of the latest updates...
Karen Kingsbury's Book A Time to Dance |
News has finally been released on the Karen Kingsbury book, A Time to Dance, becoming a Hallmark movie. We first learned the possibility of this happening in September of 2014! I shared the press release, here.
According to Deadline.com, "pre-production is underway for the movie adaptation of Karen Kingsbury’s A Time To Dance, the first novel in her Timeless Love series, scheduled to premiere this year (2016!)."
I'm not certain which Hallmark station, as of yet, they will air this on.
Karen Kingsbury’s book A Time To Dance is available through Paperback, Hardcover, Audible Audio Edition, and Kindle.

Please Note: From what some of you have shared with me, I know you are surprised to see this story come to Hallmark. I have not read this book - so I cannot comment on it, but it is my hope Hallmark will keep to it's usual moral standard. If I hear anything different, I will be sure to let you know!
Mommy Bloggers - NEWLY NAMED: Hearts of Spring
Some details on the upcoming Hallmark movie Mommy Bloggers have also been released via whatsfilming.ca: "The film features Vancouver’s own Michael Shanks (Saving Hope, Stargate SG-1) and Carrie Genzel (Watchmen, Jennifer’s Body). Real life mother/daughter combination of Lisa Whelchel (The Facts of Life, For Better or For Worse) and Clancy Cauble will be portraying a mother/daughter relationship in the movie as well."
UPDATE: According to Hallmark's web-site:

"Hearts of Spring" will premiere on the Hallmark Channel in April during their Spring Fling event!
Gourmet Detective: Death Al Dente:

Actor Dylan Neal (Cedar Cove, Gourmet Detective) has confirmed via Twitter, that he and Brooke Burns will be starring in Gourmet Detective: Death Al Dente, which is currently in pre-production and will be coming up later this year on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!
This will be the third mystery movie in this series!
Garage Sale Mystery: A Novel Murder:
We knew another movie in this mystery series was coming, but now we also know since Actress Lori Loughlin (Full House, When Calls the Heart, Northpole: Open for Christmas, Fuller House, etc...) has shared via Twitter... they are in the midst of filming it: Garage Sale Mystery: A Novel Murder!
